We know which points to treat on you because we measure the meridians in real time. When we graph them and only treat the points to lower the high ones or raise the low ones, then the graph balances out and symptoms begin to go away. We do not just chase a symptom with a recipe list of points. Instead we treat the patients whole well being for optimal health. Patients are not very forthcoming with me, but after I use the Acugraph and begin highlighting the points I need to treat, it explains what the points are traditionally used for in terms of western medicine diagnosis or symptoms. That is when I hear a lot of "Oh I have that, but I didn't think to tell you. You just found out with that?" Yes, it is still amazing to me.

What is Acugraph? It is based on a 60yr old practice from Japan called Ryodoraku. A very brilliant colleague of mine decided to make his own electrical detection hardware that could interface with some really cool software that would take measurements, do all the math, and produce a graph. Now that we are measuring electrical skin resistance at representative acupuncture points we can  give more effective acupuncture treatments by providing real-time insight into your meridians.  With objective measurement of meridian data it is ran through some math to determine the average and make a graph. Now we have interactive visual displays  as well as treatment point recommendations. It stores each of your exams to provide comparisons which is another visual to show that you are getting results.
